Here's an old drawing I did way back in 2004. I had just begun to learn Photoshop at the time and colored it, but was never happy with the results. So, now that I've had a bit more practice at it, I decided to re-color it for fun.
There's no deep, important, hidden meanings to this one, I just felt like drawing a bunch of zombies attacking a cute girl. Kinda in the style of a 1950's - 70's horror comic book cover, or exploitation movie poster.
Since I posted this one a lot of people have asked why the girl has no shoes. Truth is, I find women's shoes really annoyingly difficult to draw. They are almost as difficult to draw as cars and houses for me. So I guess my subconscious mind took the easy way out and just avoided the issue automatically.
cool, I love the Idea of the zombies attacking the cheerleader but its good, I'm not really proud of my first drawings either, I guess thats just the way we artist think
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
