Artist's Comments

This is a "splash" page from my recent comic book, "Wulf and Batsy". At this point in the story, good old Wulf is basically turning the tide on the angry villagers. It's fun to draw guys getting their faces ripped off.

Nice looking details and contrasts. Excellent sense of dynamic in the composition. Fine work.

Very nice.

It has such a vivid clean style.

I'd like to get more info about the comic.

Thanks, everybody. I'll try to answer all the questions that came up here. No, I didn't draw this illustration on the computer. This is just a good old fashioned pen and ink illustration on Bristol Board. (For more info on Bristol Board and pen and ink stuff, see the convo that went down on my "Swamp Rot" illustration).

My comic book Wulf and Batsy was published in July 2005 by Chanting Monks Press. I created the characters, wrote the story, drew all the artwork, and did the lettering. The only thing I didn't do was the cover illustration, which was done by Joe Chiodo (cover illustrations by famous artists equal better comic book sales). It's a complete 64-page story and is the first of what I hope will be many books about the characters. Cover price is $5.95, but you can order copies directly from me for an even $5.00. Write to me at bryanbaugh@yahoo.com if that interests you.

For more artwork, information, and reviews on Wulf and Batsy, check out the "Wulf and Batsy" page and the "News" page of my regular website:

This picture reminds me of old movies, before my time especially the classic horrors.
:iconbryanbaugh:
That's the idea, Killswitchfreak. I take that as a huge compliment. Thanks!
